Ive added a sample recipe to the Recipes section on the website. This is a summarised sample from the book, removed out of context for this web site. It should however still serve as a recipe to follow to try out the wonderful dish known as Pippirana, and as summer is fast approaching it is better to be prepared for when the heat hits.
Well, back from the editor with a list of corrections and changes to make. This is going to take a little longer than I hoped, but it will be worth it.
Most of the images are prepared now for the ebook versions. The first that goes to kindle ar 300dpi, and the second to Smashwords at 96dpi. As an example, here is one of the images to be used on the chapter of local history. It will be linked to another photo taken from the 1930´s and you will be able to see how little has changed over the last 80 years. Im also considering a PDF of the book with more images, as book the other e formats, epub and mobi do not really allow yet for this extent of illustrative work. We shall see. The file is finished. Its now with the editor. This means I´ll be around a lot more, to begin work on this site, develop more in-depth networks and to begin to compile all the photos, videos, podcasts, stories and recipes for this site.
Expect changes. Semana Santa is finally over, slightly damper than other years, unless of course you count the tears of disappointment from the nazarenos when rain stopped play.
The streets are still coated in wax, the incense still hangs in the air and the town breaths slowly for a moment or two before next weekend when the Medieval Market hits town as well as the second craft fair by the AAPL. |
