Where the numbers come from

  1. AEMET, the State Meteorological Agency: climate normals 1981–2010 for 85 stations. Sources
  2. Renfe open timetable data (CC BY 4.0) for long-distance and high-speed trains.
  3. BOE, the official gazette: the 2026 and 2027 lists of public holidays by region.

Questions

Where does the weather data come from?

From AEMET, Spain's national weather agency. The figures are its published climate normals for 1981–2010 for each station. They describe a typical month, not a forecast.

Do the train times show today's trains?

No. They come from the Renfe timetable file for long-distance and high-speed services. The example departures are for Wednesday 11 November 2026; times change, so check Renfe before you buy.

Which holidays does the site list?

The national and regional holidays that the regions sent to the Ministry of Labour, as published in the BOE for 2026 and 2027. Each town also has up to two local holidays that are not listed here.
