Surviving the Summer in Spain

27/6/2013

Is it me or has it gone hot?

Just the other week I was still wearing jeans and socks and a fleece around town, but now...it's out with the flip-flops, the cut-off's, the sun-cream and the snorkel because... Yup you guessed it...Summer is here.

The signs are all about: The grass has turned into straw, the dog sleeps with his tongue out, and I sleep with both feet out of the bedroom window - pointing directly at my neighbours underwear, hanging seductively from his kitchen window.

Twang...
Still, can't complain. Relief should come by soon ..about mid September. Until then, a new podcast is coming this weekend...How to Survive the Summer in Spain.  Call back in a couple of days for all the advice you could ask for.
