The History of Spain in Twelve 3 minute videos.

30/11/2013

Just a brief update on why the site has gone quiet this last week - and that is becasue I'm working on a collaborative project for the beginning of December. Its a series of 12 videos with a theme related to Spain and each video will be uploaded from my YouTube channel from the 13th to the 25th of December at mid-day.

One video a day at mid-day -  for 12 days. Now, this, has been just a little more work than I imagined, partly due to problems with the latest version of imovie - having to ditch the project and begin again with an older version of the program after running into a number of bugs - and partly due to my reluctance to just upload a load of old stuff, but instead to produce completely  new multi-media material.

The Gazpachomonk's History of Spain....

So each person in the test group (Writers and Bloggers in Spain) will be promoting something about what they do in Spain. For me that's not so straight forward as what I do is as elusive as to me as it is to the tax man.

So my plan - and its now underway obviously - is to do a short history of Spain with a distinct Gazpachomonk flavour to it. 12 episodes tracing the history of the country as experienced by a small town in Andalusia. Think if it as a mini-course in the history of the Universe.

New Gazpchomonk Youtube Channel

If you want to receive notification when the videos go up, then subscribe to my Youtube channel here - where you will find each one uploaded from next month as well as the rest of my videos.

Let me know what you think.

At the end of the series, you should have come out of it with a basic grasp of the history of the country and probably, a new perspective on the universe and everything in it. More soon....

Reading 'Inside the Tortilla' I have a good feeling about the forthcoming 'Talking of Spain' 12 videos of the History of Spain. I expect, metaphor and stories of spirituality, Gazpacho Monk travels and philosophies on culture in Spain and life in the Universe ingeniously wrapped in an entertaining and enlightening series of mini moving visuals all with its own message that collectively leads us to a better place of peaceful contemplation. Can't wait!
